I will go back a little in time:
In 2008, I was awarded by a well-known magazine with a trip to Patagonia.
The question was: What would change in your life if you were standing in front of the Perito Moreno?
And among more than 10,000 responses, mine was the chosen one, the winner!
It was with this prize that, in June 2008, accompanied by my eldest son, I fell in love with Patagonia—it was truly love at first sight! Standing in front of Perito Moreno, I was able to understand the grandeur and beauty of nature.
I remember walking with Guto through the center of El Calafate, and we stopped at a travel agency. All excited, I asked if we could go see the penguins! They explained that the distance to Ushuaia was great and that there were no penguins in June. By one of those ironies of fate, our flight back to Buenos Aires made a stop in Ushuaia, completely off route... and as I looked outside, everything was covered in snow, so beautiful, I said to my son: my next stop will be Ushuaia.
I fulfilled this dream in June 2013, accompanied by my daughter Cristina and my 7-year-old grandson Bruno, who was so excited he could hardly contain himself... I don’t even need to mention the jumps we made in the 4x4.
This time, everything was organized by Patagonia Experience... and since all good things are short-lived, and there was almost no snow, we returned the following year with a lot of SNOW! But this time, instead of just the three of us, two more intruders joined us: my son Fernando and his little girl Larissa, who was 3 years old. Lari and Bruno had a blast in the snow, enjoying every minute of this trip.
I don’t even need to confess to you how happy I was watching and participating in all this fun with the kids, the four of them, yes, because my son and daughter turned into kids too.
And once again, you guys at Patagonia Experience exceeded all expectations.
But there was still something very special missing, a dream of mine: to walk among the penguins...
Dreams come true, and so, talking to a childhood friend who really wanted to visit Patagonia, we started planning our trip. Once again, everything was planned and organized by Patagonia Experience, under Guilherme’s direction, and we had a wonderful trip in every sense. With each tour, a new emotion.
The guides from Tierra Turismo are cheerful, helpful, punctual, and enriched every tour with their knowledge of wildlife, flora, the environment, and of course, everything was PERFECT!
I forgot one detail: my friend, who is from Rio, added three more cariocas to this trip, and I consider myself a paulistana. I never imagined there would be so much harmony, laughter, joy, wine glasses, and unity between cariocas and paulistas! Thank you, friends, thank you, Patagonia Experience, and thank you so much for having you, Jefferson and Guilherme, leading this adventure of ours.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
Already imagining the next trip...
