Hello Eduardo, here is our feedback.
On our second day in Ushuaia, we went on the 4x4 tour with Marcelo and his teammate. They were very attentive and careful, and Marcelo even gave a little performance—it was a lot of fun. The vehicle was good, and we felt safe.
Walking through the "enchanted" forest (it looked like something from another world), across the peat bogs and arriving at the cabin to find the hidden lake, was a wonderful experience. We really enjoyed the barbecue, Carmen loved her special dish, and we even saw a fox… haha, everything was delicious.
Maria Helena and Eliseu loved the surprise for their wedding anniversary; they said the dinner was really nice. The Alto Andino Hotel was very good—comfortable beds, nice shower, cleanliness, heating, service, and a breakfast with a wonderful view of the port. Even though the hill to get there is quite steep, it was worth it because it’s close to both the center and the port.
The trip to El Calafate went smoothly. We arrived at the Kosten Aike Hotel at 1 p.m. and were warmly welcomed. It’s a good hotel—comfortable beds, nice shower, cleanliness, breakfast, heating—and even closer to the shopping area than the Alto Andino. A very beautiful hotel.
We visited the Perito Moreno Glacier with Marisa. She was okay, but she spoke very fast. Carmen and I understand Spanish, but a family that went with us didn’t understand either English or Spanish, poor things—they didn’t get any of the explanations. Speaking more slowly would help those unfamiliar with Spanish. The rest of the tour was great—I don’t even have enough adjectives to praise this natural wonder. It was amazing. Maria Helena and Eliseu loved the trekking and found the effort reasonable.
Our last tour was with Rodolfo, who was very attentive and polite. He spoke slowly and gave us a lot of attention. The lunch was very tasty. We loved the place, and going on a 4x4 trail was a pleasant and fun surprise for all of us.
I want to thank you and your entire team for the attention given to our trip. Discovering this piece of nature was unforgettable.
Sincerely,
Cristina Bertazi
